The IRIS Synthetics Engine (syngine) service uses Instaseis to generate synthetics from Earth and Mars model databases pre-computed by AxiSEM. The service provides custom tailored synthetic seismograms or Instaseis Green’s function. For each single-source and single-model request, all traces will be returned in a ZIP archive containing SAC files or miniSEED.
